We kindly ask all residents, relatives and visitors to avoid leaving valuables and money on the premises. We cannot accept responsibility for any money, valuables, dentures lost or damaged. Even though a locked cabinet is provided, we nonetheless advise against valuables being stored at the Home otherwise you should have your own insurance for your personal valuables
Please ensure all clothing has a name tag suitable for machine washing and tumble drying, as we do not accept any responsibility for damage to any items of clothing. We politely request that the amount of clothes brought in does not exceed the given wardrobe space. And if a resident has their own wheelchair, please make sure it is labelled with their name on it.
We will greatly appreciate it if you would not stick or fix anything to the wall or furniture. Should you wish to hang your own pictures we will willingly remove existing home pictures. If Residents bring their own furniture and it causes any damage to Airedale Nursing Home property, it is the residents’ responsibility that the damaged item is replaced or repaired.
In the interests of maintaining the privacy of our residents, we request that you do not use a mobile phone inside the home.
On departure from the home we kindly ask you to remove all personal belongings within 72 hours, otherwise it will be discarded, returning any hospital equipment.
Each Wednesday, weather permitting, we visit our local Church. If a family member would like to accompany their loved one to and from Church it would be greatly appreciated.
Finally, during your relative’s stay at the Airedale, it may be necessary to allow workmen, such as plumbers or electricians, to access the room in the event it is necessary. We always aim to have all repairs performed with the least disruption and inconvenience to residents.
We would like to inform all residents, relatives and visitors that reception is open Monday to Friday 9.00 until 17.00 and weekends and bank holidays 11.00 until 16.00. At all other times, however, there may be a delay answering the door and telephone.
